We trace our roots to 1612 when the first brinkerhoff came to New Amsterdam. in the early 1900s, Zach brinkerhoff, Sr. moved the family to a plantation in Shreveport, LA called Last Chance. It was there, in 1912, that the Texas Company made an oil discovery on the family farm. That discovery led to the family's entry into the oil & gas business, and subsequent success of The Brinkerhoff Drilling Company which propelled us into O&G exploration and our businesses today.
